The Kis Helikon Hotel is easy to approach from the main street of Hévíz. It is situated in the cure quarter of the city, a little bit hidden in a quiet park area but not displayed. It is at 5-8 minutes walk from the lake.
How to get there:
By car: From Budapest on motorway M7 to Balatonkeresztúr, then take road 71 after the railway crossing towards Keszthely and look for Hévíz sighs. From Sopron and Győr take road 84 to Balatonederics, then take road 71 to Keszthely and at the roundabout at Gyenes
By bus: There are several coaches coming to Hévíz to the coach station, which is not far from the hotel (1,5 miles) but there is also a taxi cab service at the station.
By train: The nearest train station is in Keszthely (3 miles), next to the coach station. You also can take a taxi from here.
By plane: Fly Balaton Sármellék 8 km, Budapest Ferihegy 220 km
By bus: There are several coaches coming to Hévíz to the coach station, which is not far from the hotel (1,5 miles) but there is also a taxi cab service at the station.

The Hévíz Medicinal Lake is the biggest biologically active natural thermal lake in the world. The 4,4hectare and 38 meters source deep lake is supplied by several sources that are rich in minerals. Its water output is 410 l/mp, the whole content of the lake is changed in every three days.
